It really is true when they say Christmas is all about the kids! I've never enjoyed Christmas so much as I did today. Seeing Ryan rip into his gifts and then playing with his new toys - he was so happy! Of course, Donnie and I got some wonderful gifts as well (Donnie got an Xbox 360, a new dog box, a Dewalt radio, clothes, etc. and I got a beautiful mother's ring and matching necklace that has Ryan's birthstone - Aquamarine - and diamonds, a beautiful diamond circle pendant necklace, pajamas, Bath & Body Works lotions and shower gels, Old Navy gift card, etc.). Donnie, as he does everyday, woke up at 5:00 a.m. Around 6:30, Donnie couldn't stand it anymore so we woke Ryan up. Ryan walked into the living room (holding onto my hand, of course) and was just smiling so big at the presents under the tree. Of course, he didn't know what they were - to him, it was just something new in the living room so he was ready to start plundering. I've got so many pictures so I've just chosen my favorites to post here.
Here's our Christmas Tree after Santa made his visit!
Daddy and Ryan on Christmas morning. So sleepy!
Check out Ryan's shirt.
Digging into his stocking.

His first Christmas present!

I gave him a little help with his first present but he figured out really fast that there were toys underneath all that paper!
He opened this present all by himself! I couldn't get the video to post so here is a succession of pictures...

He would pull little pieces of paper off and throw it to the side! So cute!

Enjoying his tricycle!
And finally a picture of a very sleepy Ryan with almost all of his toys! There were so many, I couldn't fit them all into the picture!! And, I didn't put them into the picture, but Ryan got so many clothes! Easily, enough clothes to last him all year long!!

We had a wonderful Christmas and I hope everyone else did as well!!
